8 More Key Courses of SHNU Approved at the Municipal Level

SMEC began to organize the application and evaluation of key courses since 2005, after that they held the work every year.The other day of this year, Shanghai Municipal Education Commission (SMEC) released the list of courses that were approved as the key courses of Shanghai universities in 2013. Among the 268 courses that have been approved this year, 8 belong to SHNU. Till now, SHNU has altogether 148 courses of this kind.
 
Since 2005, the SMEC began to organize the application and evaluation of key courses every year. The work became biennial in 2011, and when the approved courses got the “excellent” result, they would be conferred the title of elite courses by SMEC.
The 8 courses of SHNU approved as key courses are: Reference Books for Culture and History, Introduction to Mao Zedong Thought and Theoretical System of Socialism With Chinese Characteristics, Basic Accountancy, Administrative Law and Administrative Procedural Law, Physical Chemistry, Computer Science (Liberal Education and Freshman Seminar), Martial Arts and Mobile Terminal Program Design.
 
With the development of SHNU, and under the leader of our president as well as with our whole stuff’s hard work, more and more courses will be proved as the key course of Shanghai Universities.
