The Spirit and Mission of SHNU be Talked to Students

     On September 25, SHNU Party Secretary Lu Jianfei delivered a lecture to over 270 new students, new CPC numbers and new political concellors on Fengxian Campus.
    
     Starting from the cultural responsibility and mission, Lu said a university should be a set of innovation system, a social think tank, a cultural highland of a city, and a promoter of national spirit. Besides the 3 traditional missions of talent cultivation, scientific researches and social service, universities of the 21 century should also undertake the new mission of cultural inheritance.
      
     Lu introduced the campus culture construction of SHNU, hoping all the new students stick to their dream, study comprehensively and professionally, diligent in learning and practice and dedicate to the country.
       
    This lecture is the first lecture of serial lectures of Situation and Policy. Experts, scholars, government officials and noted public figures are invited to give lectures monthly to help the students know more about the country and the society.
