How to apply
I. The application requirements
1) 18-35 years old, healthy , non-Chinese citizen holding foreign valid ordinary passport;
2) Graduated from senior high school or equivalent to the educational level of Chinese senior high school graduation, above the average senior high school "B" grade (or more than 70 points);
3) The Chinese level must reach our college entrance requirements. All the undergraduates in our school receive Chinese teaching (except English major), application for liberal arts (including economics, management, law) or art class must achieve medium C level (level 6) or above of Chinese language proficiency test (HSK), and application of science specialty must achieve Primary C grade (grade 3) or above of HSK. If the Chinese level of the appliers do not reach requirement, they can take half a year or one year language preparatory training in Chinese Language and Literature College, and in every April or December, they can participate in Chinese language proficiency test in Xiamen University.
4) Those senior high school graduates who receive their education with Chinese as the main teaching language do not need to turn in their HSK certificate when applying for the entrance.
II. Application materials
1) Minnan Normal University Registration Form for Overseas Students. Please fill in the form as required seriously together with your photos.
2) Senior high school graduation certificate or Notarized copy should be handed in. Fresh graduate students can hand in school graduation proof issued by their schools. A version of notarized Chinese or English must be provided if the text is not written in Chinese or in English.
3) The transcripts of all the courses in senior high school or notarized copy should be handed in. A version of notarized Chinese or English must be provided if the text is not written in Chinese or in English.
4) The Original certificate or notarized copy of HSK, or proof of Chinese as the teaching language in middle school
5) Passport copy (the validity period of the ordinary passport)
6) Proof of good credit 7) Resume 8) If you have files which can prove your comprehensive abilities, such as award certificates, relevant recommendation, and so on, you can hand in those materials at the same time. Our college will give priority to your admissions. * The materials are not refundable, no matter you are admitted or not.
III. Application time: February 15th-July 15th every year
