Chinese Bridge Held in Madagascar among College Student
the 11th CHINESE BRIDGE Chinese Proficiency Competition for Foreign College Students first landed Madagascar On May 23,2012. a preliminary competition was held in Confucius Institute at University of Antananarivo. Upon the recommendation of Chinese teachers, 12 candidates from all over the country participated in the competition.
The competition was kicked off with a traditional Malagasy dance. The candidates presented themselves to well impress the judges and audience. During the competition, the candidates demonstrated their Chinese language proficiency and Chinese cultural skills through topic speeches, poetry recital, Chinese singing, Chinese dancing and Tai Chi Performance, etc.
After fierce contention, Miss Isaia Herimialy RATSIZAKAINA, a mandarin major from University of Antananarivo won the competition. Miss RATSIZAKAINA will be recommended to participate in the second round contest to be held in China.
