Foreign Students in Jiangsu University Took Part in Dragon Boat Match
Since April, 2012, after receiving the notification, OEC actively organized students for enrollment, and on May 6th, 12th, 15th dragon boat race team went through water training, seemingly simple rowing action, but to the students it was not easy. With full enthusiasm and dedication, all the students overcame the difficulty.
The race which took place on May 18th, 2012 was an enchanting and captivating one; when team members from OEC came out for the race, they were second in a four-team heated race. Competing with 16 teams, however, it was observed that due to lack of experience, they lost on May 19th. We encourage your team members that do not abandon; your spirit will deeply affect everyone.
In the process of training and competition, the OEC dragon boat team attracted a lot of media attention, contributing a lot to Zhenjiang tourism internationalization and attraction.
Dragon Boat race will deepen students' understanding of Chinese culture, ethnic customs, and enhance Sino-foreign mutual understanding and friendship between the two parties.
