Young learners of CIUA present end-of-semester show
On July1, 2012, with the melody of Chinese national anthem, an end-of-semester show presented by the young Chinese learners of Confucius Institute at University of Antananarivo (CIUA) inaugurated.
Two young learners hosted the end-of-semester show in mandarin. During the show, which lasted for about two hours, 36 kids presented poem recitation, singing, and drama in mandarin. The kids even invited their parents to the stage to participate in a word quiz.
The CIUA young learners’ section which aims to provide mandarin education service for Chinese kids in Malagasy capital Antananarivo started with a group of 12 learners in September, 2009. The number of students has increased to 36 in 4 groups. The Section adopts the same teaching materials, teaching standard and teaching method in China and has thus become a prior choice for Chinese children to learn mandarin in Antananarivo.
