Beijing No. 25 Middle School Recruitment of Foreign Students

1. Qualification of Applicants

Any foreign student aged 12-16 who is holding the valid passport of a foreign country and can abide by Chinese laws and regulations is eligible for the application for Admission to Beijing No.25 Middle School. The applicant must be in good health, have achieved good academic results in his/her previous school and have the legal guardian in Beijing during his/her study period at Beijing No. 25 Middle School.

2. Application Method

Application should be made at the school’s Admission Office.

3. Materials for Application

（1）The filled-out Application Form.(The form can be downloaded from school’s website.)

（2）The applicant’s passport and its photocopy as well as Visa and its duplicate

（3）The transcript from the previous school and one photocopy. If you apply for Chinese training courses in our school you need provide language class Recommended List (The Recommended List can be downloaded from school’s website).

（4）Attach to the Application Form 2 recent 2-inch colored photos with Blue Background.

（5） The Guardian’s Letter of Guarantee. (The form can be downloaded from school’s website.).

（6）The photocopy of the ID card of the student’s guardian.

Note: Any of the following personal can act as the foreign student’s guardian

a. A registered permanent Beijing resident. (Need to submit the photocopy of the ID card).

b. A Chinese citizen residing in Beijing. (Need to submit the photocopy of the ID card and the over-one-year temporary residence permit in Beijing).

c. A foreign adult (not a student) who has one year or the over-one-year residence permit in Beijing. (Need to submit the Pa ssport with one photocopy of the first page and the valid residence permit.)

4. Application Schedule

Chinese Training Courses

（1）The students of spring registration: From the beginning of December to February of

the following year (working hours)

（2）The students of autumn registration: From mid-April to mid-September (working

hours)

Regular Grade

From mid-April to mid-June of every year

5. Entrance Examinations

（1）For the student who applies for Chinese Training Course, a transcript from the previous school and language class Recommended List for applying to Beijing No.25 Middle School are needed. If qualified, you shall be interviewed before decision on admission is made.

（2）For the student who applies for Regular Grade, written exams for Chinese, Mathematics and English will be arranged. Those who pass the written exams will be arranged for an interview before decision on admission is made.

6. Admission Notice

（1）If the student’s materials meet the requirements of Beijing No.25 Middle School and he/she can pass the interview, he/she can study in the Chinese training courses.

（2）In the regular grade, the Admission (Passing) Point is decided based on the number of applicants, the results of the examinations and the planned enrolment figure.

7、Documents for Enrollment:

（1） The student’s passport with the photocopies of the first page and the valid visa.

（2） The Temporary Residence Certificate issued by the local Security Bureau where the student resides, and one photocopy of the certificate.

（3）The student’s original transcript (in Chinese or English), school report or transfer certificate; Junior high graduate students are requested to provide original and copy of diplomas.

（4）Medical certificate issued by a district-level or city-level hospital in Beijing.

（5） Attach to the Application Form 4 recent 2-inch colored photos with Blue Background.

（6）The original and photocopy of the ID card of the student’s guardian. (Passport with one photocopy and the first page and the valid visa application are necessary if the student’s guardian is a foreigner )

(7) Two original copies of the notarized Guardian’s Letter of Guarantee.

Note: Candidates can submit various supporting documents, which can display their talents.

The school reserves the right to require any additional materials when necessary.
