SAU Holds Conference on Chinese-Foreign Cooperation Universities
On Oct.11th, 2013, SAU held its first conference on Chinese-Foreign cooperation in running universities in administrative building. Ms. Zhang Xiuli, Director of International Exchange and Cooperation Office, Liaoning Provincial Education Department was invited to the conference. Mr. Wang Wei, Chairman of SAU Board, Mr. Chen Baodong, Vice President as well as Mr. Wang Qi, Vice President attended the conference.
Ms. Zhang Xiuli introduced the general situation of international exchange in Liaoning Province and analyzed the opportunities and challenges which Chinese-Foreign cooperation programs in running universities has brought to us. She put forward several suggestions for improving teaching resources and exploring cooperation mode in a wide range and all levels.
Mr. Chen Baodong put forward several requirements for international cooperation in order to enhance the education quality for students such as increase financial input in international exchange programs, optimizing cultivating plan as well as improving administrative capability.
“We need to promote students’ vision and introduce more top-class faculty who have education experience in the world”, said Mr. Wang Wei at the conference. He also said that international education should be a chance for all the colleges to optimize their curriculum and teaching resources.
Mr. Richard Chen, Dean of International Education gave a brief introduction to international cooperation in running universities and future development plan.
The conference successfully concluded in rounds of applause.
