HEU held 1st International Exchange Week

Transtlate To accelerate the university’s internalization, the opening ceremony of HEU’s 1st International Exchange Week was held in the Orekhov Square on October 13. The theme of the activity this year was “to experience the wonderful world and cultural exchange”. The activity aims to promote international exchange program, enhance students’ international awareness, broaden their international horizon and create an international atmosphere on campus as a whole.
Nine galleries were set, including the United States, Britain, Australia, Germany, France, Russia, Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan regions. International exchange programs between HEU and the above nine countries or regions were displayed. There were a variety of activities with flexible forms, ranging from cultural promotion, program consultation to international cultural performance and international knowledge contest.
The Vice President YANG Desen participated in some of the activities. He pointed out that the international exchange programs play an important role in students’ cultivation. They also reflect the trend of internationalization in higher education. He also stressed that students should actively participate in the international exchange programs to develop their all-round ability and quality. The International Week contains a variety of activities and last for two weeks.
