On October 20th, LIU Jinghui, Secretary-General and YANG Xinyu, vice secretary-general of  CSC visited  HEU for  survey and guidance. They were accompanied by XIN Baozhong, the deputy director-general of department of education in Heilongjiang province. HEU president LIU Zhigang and vice president YANG Ye met the visiting guests at the meeting room of the 8th floor of the main building.

LIU Zhigang welcomed LIU Jinghui. He stated that HEU have achieved some positive effect in recent years. Some of these achievements include: servicing national strategic needs, highlighting the characteristics of industry, improving the international influence under the support from the CSC. The subject focuses have been on the three sea and nuclear advancements.   The school will further take part in the application and development of CSC’s projects and continue to promote the school's internationalization process. 

The head of  the school International affair Office carried out reports related to CSC projects in the school's outstanding undergraduate program,  government funded overseas postgraduate study project, CSC  scholarship, and the project of sending teachers abroad for training,  as well as the special Russian project .  

LIU Jinghui affirmed school's achievement in sending people overseas and accepting abroad workers in recent years. She introduced the next CSC working thought and specific acts and pointed out that the CSC will further expand the scale of sending people abroad and accepting overseas people. She plans to focus on improving quality. The CSC will increase the school's autonomy and support and provide funds to the school's characteristic advantage projects.

XIN BaoZhong said that with the support of CSC, HEU represents a number of colleges and universities in the province and has made an outstanding contribution in cultivating high-grade personnel and high level of scientific research. She hopes that CSC will give further support to the local colleges and universities.  She also hopes it helps the surrounding local economic and cultural construction. Heilongjiang province has a good geographical and history advantage.

Related officials of CSC, HEU officers of teaching affair, Postgraduate School, human resources department, international cooperation department, and head of the international school all attended the meeting. People exchanged their experiences and ideas for implementing the project and also discussed problems as well.
