SAU International Students Visit “9.18” Historical Museum
On Oct. 24, 2013, international students visited “9.18” Historical Museum, a famous commemorative scenic spot in Shenyang. Sponsored by the Shenyang Municipal Government, it was completed on September 18, 1999 and opened to the public. The museum now occupies 32,000 square meters. With eight exhibit halls, it displays the history and the hardships experienced during this fourteen year period (1931 to 1945).

International students acquired more knowledge about Chinese history after the Chinese language faculty explained the background information. More cultural experience courses will be developed in this semester and offer international students with opportunities to gain cultural knowledge from extra-curriculum activities.
