Shanghai Preparatory School of Overseas Students Welcomes New Numbers
Shanghai Preparatory School of Overseas Students held a welcome party for the new students in SHNU on October 18. On behalf of the university, SHNU President Zhang Minxuan extended a warm welcome to 70 foreign students from 26 different countries, and expressed his sincere gratitude to relevant colleges and universities for their recommendation.
Representatives of the colleges and universities had a cordial talk with their recommended students, asking about their study and life at the Preparatory School. Students from different cultural backgrounds communicated with each other, showing confidence and anticipation for their future study in SHNU.
These 70 new students, recommended by 23 colleges and universities in Shanghai, are the second batch of students enrolled in the Preparatory School. They will go back to their own school for undergraduate study after one-year preparatory study.
