A Message from Finland to Shenzhen University
Dear, Mr. Wang,
Hope you are having a great time in Shenzhen and China!
I've been here in Finland for the last few months, I enjoy it, but I also greatly miss China and Shenzhen. I had absolutely great experiences there and hope to go back there at some stage.
I had an honor to be the first ever Finnish host to participate the Chinese National day celebrations in Finland. I held it in Chinese with other Chinese students. A great experience! The biggest reason why they picked me up was because they saw that I had got used to performing in Chinese art occasions and performances - that's what I got precisely in Shenzhen all that experience! I thank you greatly for that and also especially your open attitude for students to participate in arts and performances - it also helps their Chinese language skills development and gives a huge amount of more motivation. That brought me as a host in Finland's China national day gala.
The event, though not my interview, was also reported in Xinhua and Global Times.

I remembered to mention often to many wondering Chinese guests, when they asked why I can speak so fluent spoken Chinese and perform in Chinese, that I got all that in Shenzhen university with you people. They really were touched and shaken by it and started to reconsider their image about Shenzhen university to a new direction. I hope it helped. My article was also posted in the newest Finland-China society's magazine! It was fully about Shenzhen, China and the student life there! I hope it helped to promote Shenzhen Uni too.... Also we were interviewed and made a big article with Choi Dayoung, my girlfriend and also Zhou Yongqiang's student in SZU, to a local Finnish newspaper. (I have them as paper versions at my home.)
All the best for you and everyone there and my best greetings from the Autumn Finland! :) I wish good and great energy for you and your family personally, to the whole staff, teachers and friends in CIE and also to the 30-year-old Shenzhen university! :)
Yours, sincerely,
Lauri T.
