In order to commemorate the 35th anniversary of the China-Japan friendship treaty and the 10th anniversary of the establishment of friendly exchange cooperation relationship between Osaka City University, Osaka Prefecture University and Shanghai University. A delegation of university managements and scholars led by Osaka City University President Dr. Yoshiki Nishizawa visited SHU on Nov, 7th, 2013.
In the morning of Nov 7th, SHU Vice President Wang Minon the establishment of friendly exchange cooperation relationship. Vice President Wang Min President Yoshiki Nishizawa reviewed the achievements of academic communication, staff and students exchange and talents development over the past 10 years. Vice President Wang Min wish to further strengthen the cooperation and exchange between two schools in the next ten years, especially expand the cooperation in cutting-edge technology of science and engineering fields. International Affairs Department director Wan Wanggen, deputy director Hao Jian, attended the meeting. welcomed the delegation on behalf of the SHU and extended the heartiest congratulation on the 10th anniversary
In the afternoon, Shanghai University East Asian Studies Centre hosted a seminar entitled “East Asian Cities’ dialogue” with East Asian Studies Committee from Osaka City University in School of Foreign Languages meeting room. More than 40 experts ,scholars and graduate students participated the seminar.
