Transtlate On the 19th, alumnus YU Xinlong, the general manager of Harbin Alsrobot Technology Co. Ltd., donated 100,000 RMB to HEU’s College of Entrepreneurship Education. This is the first venture capital donation since the establishment of the College of Entrepreneurship Education.
President LIU Zhigang, the chairman of the HEU Education Development Foundation GAO Wanxin and the dean of the College of Entrepreneurship Education WEI Lin attended the donation ceremony held in the conference room of the AdministrationBuilding.
During his address, President LIU Zhigang pointed out that HEU strongly supports student entrepreneurship. A series of policies and measures adopted by the school offer help to students and achieved fruitful results. The donation of 100,000 RMB and the establishment of the Xinlong Science and Technology Venture Fund play a positive role in encouraging students to undertake ventures, improving the overall quality of students and cultivating a team spirit.
YU Xinlong thanked HEU for its help and support. He said his study experience in the College of Entrepreneurship Education taught him a lot and expressed his belief that the systematic and professional theory instruction is of substantial benefit to the improvement of business knowledge and ability. At present, he would like to provide students with the opportunities to practice in order to encourage them to undertake ventures and help them realize their business dream.
From 2005 to 2009, YU Xinlong was a student of the College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering. In 2008, he founded Harbin Alsrobot Technology Co. Ltd. that settled in the National Science Park of HEU. He is currently the general manager of the company that was awarded “the Most Promising Network Operator”, “the Most Innovative Network Operator” and other honors.
