Accounting Summer Camp Held in SUFE

88 outstanding students from 90 well-known universities like Peking University, TsingHua University, Fudan University, Renmin University of China, Zhejiang University, Xiamen University, Nankai University, Nanjing University, Zhongshan University, Wuhan University, Tongji University, and Xiamen University took part in the summer camp , which was held between July 18th to 22nd after a fierce selection process.
On the morning of July 19th, students participated in mathematics and English written tests. While in the opening ceremony which was held on the afternoon, Vice President Zhongfei Zhou welcomed students on behalf of SUFE. Subsequently, the Dean and Professor Xinyuan Chen of Accounting School delivered a speech, encouraging students to improve themselves via further study. Vice Dean Hongjun Zhu introduced the school’s development process, its characteristics and subject construction. Then, a graduate school representative Jingjie Zhao exchanged graduate study and life experience with participants.
On July 20th, four lectures were given to students by Manager Zhenyu Shen of Shanghai Stock Exchange Management Department, Audit Department Partner in Charger Dan Li of PWC Certified Public Accountants , Director Yanming Huang of Guotai Junan Securities Research Institute and Associate Professor Ziye Zhao of SUFE’s Accounting School. Students were schooled in the disciplinary hotspots and frontier theories. On July 21st, students held a case study on PEAK Company, which enhanced their teamwork sense. On the last day, a comprehensive assessment was held to interview each student’s knowledge structure, logical thinking and language expression ability. After that, participates were awarded certificates.
The 4-day summer camp strengthened the awareness of SUFE and its Accounting School, which would expand the school’s national influence and form a strong foundation for attracting and retaining excellent Master’s students.
