SUFE holds training course for new staff

Transtlate SUFE’s Personnel Department held a pre-service training course for newly recruited staff from August 26th to August 30th .
During the course, Vice President Zheng Sun made a speech entitled “Building a high level university and cultivating high-quality business elite” and Vice President Lanjuan Liu delivered a speech entitled “Promoting undergraduate teaching reform based on people”. The training course’s opening ceremony was presided by Vice President Zhongfei Zhou .While President Liming Fan also attended the course and delivered a speech. And representatives from the President’s Office, Academic Department, Research Department, Development Planning Office, Students Affairs Office, Graduate School, Library, Educational Technology Center, and Information Office also made brief introductions of their respective departments.
As part of the course, the new staff also attended lectures given by Professor Yinxiong Han and Professor Baohua Ding of East China Normal University, Professor Lei Xing and Associate Professor Yiqi Luo from Shanghai Jiaotong University. Through this training, the new staff members gained an initial understanding of SUFE’s history, development strategy, campus planning and academic buildings, which should serve them well as they engage in their work.
In total, SUFE recruited 99 people this year. 61 of the 99 people took teaching & research posts. Of those 61, 59 of the 61 people held doctoral degrees and 57.4% of those degrees were granted by overseas universities.
