SHNU Students Stage Show in Edinburgh International Arts Festival

Students from SHNU Film and TV Arts College performed a physical play “The True Story of Ah Q” at Edinburgh International Arts Festival in the UK. They won acclaim from the theatre manager, various performing groups and audiences from Britain, France, and Italy, etc.
Adapted from the short novel by a famous Chinese writer Lu Xun, the show involves elements of Chinese culture and Kongfu. As different arts groups promote their shows of musical drama, dances, and acrobatics on the Royal Mile in the UK, the SHNU team resorted to drums and gongs to attract the audience’s attention.
This art show means a great opportunity for China and SHNU to be known to the world.
