A Symphony Concert Held to Celebrate HEU’s 60th Anniversary

Transtlate On the evening of August 31, “The Symphony Concert in Honor of HEU’s 60th Anniversary” was held in the Qihang Theater. HEU’s Party Secretary GU Huanmin, Vice President YANG Desen attended the concert along with many alumni, guests, teachers and students.
The concert was conducted by Professor SUN Nanhang who is a national pipe musician and one of the best conductors in China. This concert was performed by nearly one hundred students of HEU’s orchestra which provided the audience with a magnificent feast.
The “hajungong Caprice”, which is composed by Professor LIU from the Central Conservatory of Music, made its debut in the concert. The whole symphonic work was divided into three chapters that represent the glory history of the PLA Military Engineering Institute of China. In order to present a marvelous concert to the HEU’s 60th anniversary audience, students of HEU’s orchestra rehearsed again and again for six months in their spare time. With beautiful melody and moving notes, they offered their best gift to celebrate HEU’s 60th anniversary.
