Transtlate The 2014 New Year Concert of SHNU was held on Xuhui Campus on Dec. 25th. Representatives of university authorities, professors, as well as teachers and students were present. SHNU President Zhang Minxuan delivered the New Year’s Speech, reviewing the success of this year and expressing best wishes to SHNU’s 60th Founding Anniversary next year.
Eleven excellent programs were performed in a variety of forms including orchestral music playing, singing, dancing, percussion music playing, etc. For instance, the duet of The Phantom of the Opera excited the audience; the fashionable accordion playing and the new-style chorus of classical musical dramas also lightened their eyes. Continuous applause could always be heard from the packed hall.
As an annual tradition, New Year’s Concert has been a unique feature of SHNU.
