An Abandoned Girl and Her American Mom is Looking for Her mom in Anhui

On July 15, a 9-year-old abandoned girl was seaching her maternal mom in Huainan Anhui province with her sisters and her American Mom Maria who adopted her in 2005, beholding pictures of her in age 2.

She's said to be born in June 2003, and found by the side of an old well in front of the local goverment office building. She was diagnozed having a heart disease. The former local government leader Liu Xuewen sent her to the orphanage. In September 2005, she was adopted by an American couple.

Maria said that her daughter could speak a little Chinese when she was two, a year later, when she could communicate with them in English, to their surprise, she said that she wanted to find her Chinese mom.

They came to Sanhe town when she was abandoned. There are 13 villages with 3-4 thousand people in each village. Mr Liu called all the people in charge for villages and asked for their help, he told them not to worry too much and they would find her mom soon.

Maria was conforting the girl.
