To celebrate its 60th anniversary, HUST 2nd Lotus Cultural Festival was held from Jun. 29th to Jul. 8th at the Youth Park.
This festival’s theme was “Lotus welcomes HUST’s anniversary”. The main part was the pond lotus at the Youth Park. Around the pond were potted lotus. There were altogether over 600 vats of lotus with more than 100 kinds. These lotus flowers showed HUST’s spirit of “Dare to Compete, Good at Transformation”. During the festival, some related activities were held, such as the popular science exhibition, photo exhibition, painting and calligraphy exhibition, HUST’s development results exhibition and musical concert.
This lotus festival was hosted by HUST afforestation committee. It warmly welcomed teachers & students and people from all walks of life to enjoy the beautiful view of lotus and campus cultures, learn the development of HUST and celebrate its 60th anniversary.
