On December 4, Tianjin University (TU) President Li Jiajun met with Mr. Allen TB Yeung, Vice President of the Hong Kong Science & Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTPC). President Li briefed the guest on TU’s history, the plans for its new campus, and its key disciplines. In recognition of HKSTPC‘s strengths in electronic chip technology, research mechanisms and innovation-directed entrepreneurial systems, he hoped TU and the HKSTPC could develop an in-depth cooperation. Vice President Yeung talked about the operating mechanism of the HKSTPC. He said that the main purpose of his visit was to further the long-term cooperative relationship between the HKSTPC and TU. The HKSTPC welcomes TU’s relevant hi-tech enterprises to find a place there. Representatives of TU presented an overview of TU research, including its research achievements.
