Transtlate The Commencement for 2012 Overseas Students was held successfully in the No.3 lecture hall of the conference center in the afternoon of Jan. 4th, 2013. 34 bachelors, 4 masters and 2 Confucius Institute Scholarship students attended the ceremony. The present leaders and professors were President of JU Mr. Yuan Shouqi, Assistant President Mr. Li Hongbo, Director of International Office Mr. Li Zhongxing, Director of Academic Affairs Office Mr. Xu Wenrong, Dean of Overseas Education College Ms. Gao Jing, Dean of School of Clinical Medicine Mr. Sui Jian, Dean of School of Management Mr. Ma Zhiqiang and teachers’ representative Mr. Cui Hengwu. The ceremony was presided by vice dean of OEC Mr. Li Xinchao.
The president gave his best wishes to the graduates. He hoped that the alumni associations could be soon established in Ghana, South Korea, just as the newly-established alumni association in India. Foreign student representative NEHA expressed her sincere gratitude to Jiangsu University and her unforgettable memory here in JU. The Nepali student Sabin, who was the representative of Confucius Institute Scholarship students, expressed in fluent Chinese his love to Jiangsu University and his thanks to OEC. The president conferred the degrees to all MBA and MBBS graduates. After the ceremony, all the attendents took a photo together.
