International Workshop on Concrete Structure Durability Held at NIT

Hosted by NIT and the Structural Engineering Research Institute of Zhejiang University, an international workshop on technologies relating to the creation of durable concrete structures was held on December 16th and 17th.
President Jin Weiliang of NIT, Vice President Xing Feng of Shenzhen University, Professor Xi Yunping of the University of Colorado (U.S.), Professor Tang Luping from Chalmers University of Technology (Sweden), and Drs. Elena Redaell and Federica Lollion from the Politecnico Di Milano (Milan Polytechnic Institute, Italy) attended the workshop. Several of the visiting experts presented technical reports on durable concrete structures and related applications.
 
The workshop was organized to enhance academic exchange and cooperation between structural engineering professionals from the United States, Europe, and universities and research institutes in China, and to promote further research in the area of concrete structure durability.
