Zhong Weihe Met with the Consul-general of French Consulate in Guangzhou

On Dec. 19th, Bruno Bisson, French Consul-General in Guangzhou, paid a visit to GDUFS accompanied by Pascale Vacher, Cultural Attache of the French Consulate. GDUFS President Zhong Weihe and other leaders conducted a friendly meeting with the guests in the VIP Hall of the Administration building. 

 
At the beginning of the meeting, President Zhong extended a warm welcome to Mr. Bisson's for his first official visit to GDUFS and reviewed the long-standing relationship between the French Consulate and GDUFS.  President Zhong also expressed his sincere gratitude to Mr. Bisson and the entire French Consulate for their great support in the development of our university.

In response, Mr. Bisson conveyed his thanks for the warm reception from our university. He pointed out that to keep the close relationship the French Consulate has with GDUFS is one of his great missions, for our university provides a platform for more and more Chinese students to learn how to speak French which will facilitate exchanges between the two countries.

President Zhong and Mr. Bisson agreed that by providing face-to-face French communication with young people not only spreads French culture but promotes friendship between the two sides. Both look forward to future exchanges and cooperation.
