Jiangsu University's 2nd International Culture Day Held Successfully

At 2:00 p.m. on December 30, " Jiangsu University's Second International Culture Day " , sponsored by Committee of Youth League, Overseas Education College, was held on the first floor of JU’s gym. Assistant President--Hongbo Li, Director of Publicity Department--Lifu Jin, dean of Overseas Education College--Jing Gao, Deputy Director of International Office—Yonghua Jiang, Deputy Director of Development Committee and External Cooperation Office--Yan Zhu, Director of the School Security Office--Gang Fu, Deputy Secretary of Committee of Youth League--Lin Feng, Vice Dean of Overseas Education College--Xinchao Li, attended the opening ceremony. Assistant President Hongbo Li announced the opening of the Second International Culture Day.

On the basis of the first successful "International Culture Day", the second time attracted more people to participate in, including 54 countries and regions, such as the United States, Canada, Sweden, Turkey, South Korea, Thailand, Nepal, Pakistan, India, Ghana, Sudan and Congo. Through the students' wonderful cultural shows, we appreciated amazing African primitive dance, elegant Thai traditional dance, melodious black soul singing and unique traditional clothing from various countries. The whole hall was full of exotic atmosphere. Chinese students also presented exciting programs, such as guzheng, bamboo flutes and national dance, which won the warm applause from the audience.

Recent years, Jiangsu University has always been committed to promoting international education, international atmosphere, the exchange and integration between foreign students and Chinese students. The second "International Cultural Day ", which is adhering to the spirit of the first, further strengthened the cultural communication between countries. People from different countries are in deeper friendship.We believe that the International Cultural Day will contribute more and more to the campus life and internationalization.
