Students From GDUFS Won Speech Contest Prizes

The speech contest with the theme of " Construction of the Secure Campus, Pursuit of the Youthful Dreams" was held in the Guangdong University of Technology at the Guangzhou HEMC (Guangzhou Higher

 
Education Mega Center) on the afternoon of May 30th. Wu Wenjun and Zhang Lilan from GDUFS respectively won the second and the third prize.
 
                                        
 
In the contest, Wu defined security as the development of one's own mind by citing the recent poisoning case of Fudan University. And then he appealed for the positive growth of both knowledge and mind, which impressed the judges a lot. As for Zhang, she analyzed the relation between the security and dreams in four aspects, which won a great applause from the audience.
 
 
 
This speech contest aimed to promote the construction of a secure community in Guangzhou Higher Education Mega Center. Twenty elites from ten universities all expressed their unique perspectives in the contest and their critical thinking and speaking skills had been greatly improved at the same time.
