San Francisco State University Students of Film Majors Co-Starts Documentary Workshop

Co-sponsored by the 11 San Francisco State University Students of film majors and 14 Students from SHNU Xiejin Film and Arts College, the 2013 Summer International Documentary Workshop is held from June 24th to July 19th.
All the courses are delivered in English by Professor Greta from San Francisco State University, including theme design, film shooting, interviewing and post production of films.
The program aims at developing students’ interest in documentaries shooting and production, and mutual exploration and understanding of the culture and history of both the US and China.
Since 2010, there has been three consecutive summer workshops of its kind between the San Francisco State University and SHNU and created outstanding films that have won prizes, such as the prize from 2011 Fan Francisco International Chinese American Film Festival, and 2012 Irish Fasinai Short Film Festival, etc.
