Doctor LIU Yunlong from Indiana University Becomes an HEU Visiting Professor


Doctor LIU Yunlong from Indiana University was employed as HEU visiting professor on 18th. HEU vice President YANG Ye attended the appointing ceremony and issued the appointing letter and HEU’s badge to him.
LIU Yunlong, obtained a doctoral degree from Purdue University in 2004, and now is an associate professor of the Computational Biology and Molecular Biology Research Center at Indiana University. He owns the membership of many renowned associations, such as AAAS, the International Society of Computational Biology, Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Association and the British Institute of Engineering and Technology. He also belongs to the editorial boards of many international journals. Mr. Liu, leading global research on gene transcriptional regulation, has chaired or participated in 7 projects of the US National Institutes of Health with funding amounting to nearly $ 5 million. With 55 papers published in SCI and nearly 100 international conference papers, he has been invited more than 10 times to top-level institutions such as Harvard University to give academic reports.
