Mr. Mark Hutchinson, GE China President and CEO Lectured at SMU

On June 26, Mr. Mark Hutchinson, GE China President and CEO visited SMU and gave a lecture entitled “Leadership” for SMU teachers and students of relevant majors. Prof. Jin Yongxing, Vice President of SMU warmly welcomed Mr. Mark Hutchinson.

Starting with the development history of GE and its core business areas, Mr. Mark Hutchinson focused his remarks on the leaders’ management quality and improvement of strong leadership. After the lecture, he interacted with SMU students from both domestic and overseas and answered their questions.

During the visit, Mr. Mark Hutchinson accompanied by Prof. Jin Yongxing toured Maritime Simulation Center and COSTAMARE Engine Room Integrated Laboratory.

Mr. Liu Bo,GE Energy Greater China President and CEO along with Mr. Mark Hutchinson also paid a visit to SMU. Besides, leaders from School of Economics and Management and International Office were involved in this visit as well as the Academic Lecture.
