8. Zêtang: Mythical origin of the Tibetan people

Zêtang is not just a beautiful city in China's Tibet, while the most important thing is it carries the legend of Tibetans' origination. It is said that there were one Buddha, one monkey who was turned from an immortal got punishment and a wicked fairy living in three caves located at Tibet's Zêtang. Later, the monkey married the wicked fairy under the Buddha's direction and gave birth to six monkeys. Then the monkeys multiplied their descendants and finally became today's Tibetans.


9. Maduo: At the head of the Yellow River

Maduo is a small county far away from big cities in Qinghai Province. It is the first county at the Yellow River's upper reach. The natural environment here is fantastic. Many wild creatures live here, and you can enjoy perfect natural scenery.
