Transtlate From November 14th to 16th, the “2013 National Forum for New Media Development in Universities” was held in Nanjing. Outstanding collectives and individuals in the field of new media in universities were presented awards in the forum. Harbin Engineering University (HEU) is the only university in Heilongjiang Province that is ranked among the 2013 National Top 10 Colleges in Overall New Media Influence.
The Tencent Micro-blog has an estimate of 581 million registered users, among which University students accounting for about 11 million. The forum, which has been held for two consecutive years, is an annual event that promotes new media research and development in Chinese universities. At this year’s forum, representatives from HEU delivered a speech sharing relative experience.
