GU Students Won the First Prize at the National English Speech Contest in Guangdong

Transtlate In the 2013 FLTRP Cup National English Speech Contest for College Students and Guangdong Speech Contest for College Students held in Zhongkai University of Agriculture and Engineering, two students from the School of Foreign Studies, Dong Fangyun, a sophomore, won the first prize and Wu Jing, a freshman, won the third prize.
The FLTRP Cup National English Speech Contest for College Students is a nation-wide English speech contest which represent the highest level of speech contests for college students. Since 2003 when it was kicked off, the FLTRP Cup National English Speech Contest for College Students has been held for 11 sessions. And 57 contestants from universities in Guangdong including Sun Yat-sen University, Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, South China Normal University and other universities took part in contest held on November, 11.
