Chinese Handicrafts Course-Paper-cutting Provided for International Students
On December 13, 2013, College of International Education provided Chinese handicraft course——paper-cutting and international students from nearly 10 countries attended the class. Ms. Zhang Xueying, a Chinese language academic gave brief introduction on the origin of paper-cutting and the way to cut traditional Chinese pattern.
The series of cultural experience courses such as Chinese calligraphy, painting, Kongfu, etc. which combine language learning and cultural experience are popular among international students. The courses will help international students get a better understanding of Chinese culture and provide a good opportunity for students from different countries to exchange.
