Research Group from Confucius Institute, Sapporo Univ. Visited GDUFS
A research group led by Dean Zhang Weixiong from the Confucius Institute of Sapporo University visited GDUFS on March 5th.

The delegation from Japan was warmly received by Dean Liang Xuehong from the International Education Institute. Since 2006, the Confucius Institute of Sapporo University has made six visits the GDUFS and has a sent a total of 110 students to our university. Liang said that through the joint efforts of the two universities, the Confucius Institute in Sapporo has achieved significant success and played a positive role in promoting non-governmental exchange between the two schools.
A group of students and teachers from the Department of Japanese Language and Culture held meetings with the visiting group and exchanged ideas on a range of issues such as the current national condition of China.
Dean Zhang Weixiong, also an alumnus of GDUFS, expressed his gratitude for the hospitality they received at the end of the meeting. He said he plans to organize more exchange programs at both graduate and undergraduate level in the future.
