On the afternoon of March 13th, NIT held a training meeting for the Party committee theoretical study group and all middle-level cadres. NIT invited Hu Chidi, Deputy Director of the Education Bureau of Ningbo, to give a report on improving the quality of higher education. Presiding over the meeting was the secretary of the Party committee, Fei Yingqin.
Hu’s report was entitled "Implement the Spirit of the Eighteenth Congress; Improve the Quality of Higher Education”. His central point was that the quality of higher education can be improved on a regional level by integrating the spirit of the Eighteenth Party Congress into the system in practical ways. Hu stressed the importance of collaboration by city and provincial agencies in developing education-related services. He further expressed his hope that that NIT will continue its work to innovate and strengthen the educational system, improve the quality of academic personnel, and thereby to serve and support the regional economy.
To conclude the training meeting, Fei Yingqin summarized the most important points, saying that Deputy Director Hu’s report provided NIT with significant guidance that should be carefully considered and implemented.
