“Chinese Culture and Language”------- Montana State University Summer Program
On June 7th, Montana State University students successfully wrapped up their one-month study in ECNU. They reluctantly said goodbye to their fellow students and Chinese language partners.
Montana State University, founded in 1893, is located in Bozeman, U.S.A. It is known for its beautiful scenery and hospitality of its people. It is also one of the comprehensive universities with the longest history in U.S.A.
In order to deepen the long-standing cooperation and goodwill between China and USA, Montana State University students set foot on Shanghai on May 10th. During their stay here, they studied Chinese language in the morning, and took part in varieties of Chinese culture activities in the afternoon, such as Martial Arts, Tea Arts, Calligraphy, ect. In their leisure time, they visited many must-go destinations in Shanghai, such as The Oriental Pearl Tower, The Bund, Nanjing Road, Yu Garden, Zhu Jiajiao, and so on. These kinds of activities not only broadened their horizon, but also deepened their understanding of Chinese culture and Chinese people as well.
Upon leaving, they farewelled with Chinese teachers and students affectionately: “See you, ECNU! See you, Shanghai! Meet in Montana!”
