HUST ranked 6th in Nature Publishing Index China

Transtlate According to the 2012 Nature Publishing Index China released on 30th, May, HUST scholars published 14 papers in Nature and Nature-branded journals with 4.41 CC（Corrected Count）, ranked 6th among domestic universities and 8th among domestic research institutions.
It was introduced that most papers published were focused on the fields of nature genetics and biomaterials. Prof. Liu Jingyu from HUST Human Genome Research Center and Prof. Huang Bo from Tongji Medical College were excellent scholars making great contributions in these fields.
The Nature Publishing Index ranks institutions according to the number of primary research articles published in Nature and other 17 Nature-branded journals. The rankings are based on the number of papers that were published during the last 12 months and will be updated weekly.
Top 10 domestic universities and scientific research institutions are listed below:
Universities: University of Science and Technology of China, Tsinghua University, Peking University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Zhejiang University, Huazhong University of Science & Technology (HUST), Fudan University, the University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Xiamen University.
Institutions: Chinese Academy of Science, University of Science and Technology of China, Tsinghua University, Peking University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, BGI, Zhejiang University, Huazhong University of Science & Technology (HUST), Fudan University, the University of Hong Kong.
