China’s First Electrical Engine Two-seated LSA Makes Debut Flight
China’s first electrical engine two-seated light sport aircraft developed by SAU made debut flight in Shenyang on June 7th, 2013, making the breakthrough of the general aviation’s manned aircraft development.
General Aviation plays an important role in aviation industry and is a strategic new-emerging industry in the 12th Five-Year Plan of China. In order to enhance aviation industry development, SAU found Advanced General Aircraft Design and Manufacturing Center and took the lead in researching general aircraft system among all the universities.
Besides teaching and entertainment, the LSA can be utilized in many sectors such as industry, agriculture, forestry, etc.
