Two International Students Majoring in Aeronautical Engineering Pass National HSK (Level IV)

 
 
In January 7, 2014, results of HSK held in December, 2013 have been issued. International students from SAU have taken this test. Two of them passed HSK (Level IV), namely Giri Suman (Nepalese) and Olarinde Joshua Toluwani (Nigerian). In recent years, SAU has made progress in Chinese language teaching for both language students and bachelor degree students. More and more students majoring in engineering or economics have taken the test and attained good results.

About HSK
HSK is an international standardized exam that tests and rates Chinese language proficiency. It assesses non-native Chinese speakers’ abilities in using the Chinese language in their daily, academic and professional lives. HSK consists of six levels, namely the HSK (Level I), HSK (Level II), HSK (Level III), HSK (Level IV), HSK (Level V), and HSK (Level VI). Test takers who are able to pass the HSK (Level VI) can easily comprehend written and spoken information in Chinese and can effectively express themselves in Chinese, both orally and on paper.
