Professor from Fudan University Lectures to SHNU Students Going to US for Short-term Probation

On January 15, Professor Ni Shixiong from the American Studies Center of Fudan University delivered a lecture to SHNU students who were going to America for short-term probation this January.
In the lecture entitled “Building Relationship between Major Countries as China and US—on the Meeting of Obama and Xi Jinping in Annenberg Retreat”, Ni analyzed the changes in Sino-American relations and pointed out the significance of the meeting between US President Obama and Chinese President Xi Jin Ping in June, 2013. He said the successful meeting passed the message that the two major countries were determined to strengthen strategic communication and promote the building of new-type relations as major countries in the world.
The lecture lasted for 2 hours and ended in warm applauses of the audience.
