Zeng Zhihua, Professor of Communication University of China, Comes to ZJUT to Give Lectures

On the afternoon of May 23rd, at the invitation of Provincial Key Disciplines of Journalism and College of Humanities, Professor of Broadcasting and Hosting Arts College and Doctoral Tutor Zeng Zhihua gave an academic lecture titled “Embrace the World, Be the Best of Yourself” in the lecture hall of science building on ZJUT’s Pingfeng campus. Nearly 200 teachers and students from the College of Humanities attended the lecture. 

Around three levels of “Cultivation of information processing capacity that cannot be neglected”, “Language skill training that cannot be relaxed” and “Cultural consciousness that cannot be forgotten”, Professor Zeng Zhihua cut to the chase with  examples from the most recent and update news events. She believes that in this era of networking and multimedia , the position of the media has become more and more diversified, which provides opportunities for everyone to be a citizen reporter. Real-time interaction of micro-blogs, virtual interaction of the media, 3D studio and other new means of communication put forward higher requirements for the operational capacity of announcers and anchors. Announcers and anchors are not just readers in front of microphones, but also need to have information processing capabilities , language skills and compassion . Only in this way, can they embrace the world and make the best of themselves. Professor Zeng Zhihua also gave interactive exercises and instruction of “scene broadcasting” to teachers and students combining classic cases of the spread of sound language, giving them a deep inspiration.
