China Scholarship Council Leaders Came to JU to Inspect

    On March 21~22, Li Tingting, Deputy Director of “Study in China Department” at China Scholarship Council, came to Jiangsu University with four other members to have an inspection here in JU.

    A report meeting about overseas students’ education was held at No.2 Conference Room in Conference Centre. Chen Long, Vice President of JU, made a full report about different aspect of JU’s overseas education situation, achievements and development strategies. Related leaders from International Office, Office of Finance, Graduate School, Office of Academic Affairs, Office of Students’ Affairs, Logistics Group, School of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Civil Engineering and Mechanics and student representatives of Chinese Government Scholarship were invited to attend the meeting. After the report meeting, leaders from CSC took a trip on the campus and visited JU History Museum, Library, Overseas Apartment and some other places.

    Through this inspection, leaders from CSC make the conclusion that JU is developing fast and has made abundant achievements; JU is able to undertake more scholarship cultivation programs and has special advantage in helping overseas students improve their Chinese language.
 
    We believe that with the strong support of CSC and with entire effort from JU’s staff and students, JU will definitely make even more achievements.
