Official On-air of Chinese Language and Culture TV Program Opend in Zambia

Chinese Ambassador Mr. Zhou Yuxiao to Zambia interviewed by Journalist of ZNBC about the meaning of Chinese language and culture TV program
At 17:30 on November 16, the long-awaited Chinese language teaching and culture TV program was premiered at ZNBC offered by CI of the University of Zambia. “Follow me to Learn Chinese”, “Wisdom of Confucius”, “Tai Chi” and other programs were welcomed greatly by all walks of people in Zambian. For the first time, Zambia has a TV program on Chinese language and culture.

The Chinese ambassador Mr. Zhou Yuxiao to Zambia, when interviewed by ZNBC, pointed out that the CI at the University of Zambia, as an important organ disseminating Chinese language and culture in this country, has harvested fruitful results in promoting cultural exchanges and deepening the traditional friendship between the two nations. The successful on-air Chinese language TV program is a significant symbol of cooperation between Zambia and China in culture, science and education. It will definitely trigger a huge response across Zambia and become an important witness of the friendship between 2 countries.
