Admission for English Medium programs for March 2013 of SAU

Dear Prospective Students:

The admission of September, 2013 has begun. The following bachelor and master degree programs are available in English medium and all the international students are welcome to study at SAU.

English Medium Programs

International students have the following options of study at SAU:

(1) Bachelor degree programs (four years)

Aeronautical Engineering

Mechanical Engineering

(2) Master degree programs (2.5 years)

(3) Short-term language courses or Chinese studies programs

Tuition Fee:

Bachelor's Degree: 16,000 Yuan/year

Master's Degree: 20,000 Yuan/year

Chinese Language and Culture: 12,000 Yuan/year

Accommodation Fee:

Double Room: 4800 Yuan/Person/Year

Single Room: 9000 Yuan/Person/Year

SAU divides every academic year into spring and autumn semesters. The autumn semester starts in September and ends in January of the following year while the spring semester begins in March and ends in July. There will be a winter and summer vacation every year. The summer vacation usually lasts 5 weeks and there are various summer vacation courses available for students. The winter vacation lasts 6 weeks and normally follows the schedule of Chinese New Year.

Here is some information about Shenyang city and SAU.

I. Shenyang city is an ancient city for more than 7,200 years, also the aviation city of China.

II. We are producing parts for Boeing and Airbus, American CESSNA and Canadian Bombardier.

III. All SAU international students get internship and jobs in famous companies like BMW, Lathe Group and Heavy Equipments Co., etc.

IV. SAU is one of the famous universities in China to provide admissions for international students sponsored by Chinese Government Scholarship.

V. SAU is also proud of its 147 School, which is approved by CAAC to train the students to maintain helicopters and issue the license.

VI. SAU students and teachers manufactured their own plane in 1958, and now there are more than 20 aircrafts as well as high level labs on the campus for the students to practice.

VII. SAU has around 20,000 students on campus, including nearly 400 international students from about 42 countries..

VIII. SAU graduates are very easy to get jobs, while the employment rate is around 90%.

IX. SAU employs a number of international lecturers from more than 10 countries as well.
