SCHOLARS DISCUSSING RELATIONS BETWEEN CHINA AND ARABIAN COUNTRIES
On May 9, Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, Diplomatic Envoys Committee of Arabian Countries, and Arabic Department jointly held a theme seminar discussing the relations between China and Arabian countries.

At the seminar, six Chinese scholars including former Vice Foreign Minister Yang Fuchang and four Arabian ambassadors made keynote speeches, discussing extensive topics of politics, economy, trade, culture, press, language, and literature. Twenty diplomats and scholars from Foreign Ministry, other universities and research institutes attended the meeting.

Chairman Yang Xueyi of the university council, Ambassador Abdullah Saleh Al Saadi of the Sultanate of Oman, Secretary-General Hu Jianhuai of Chinese-Arab Friendship Association, and Director Liu Wu spoke at the opening ceremony of the photo show held concurrently.
Taken by Liu Wu when he toured 15 Arabian countries, the photos will be on exhibition for a week at Arabic Department.
