AU Delegation Visits American Universities
From April 15th, to April 18th, 2013, SAU delegation, led by professor Wang Wei, the Chairman of University Board visited Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville (SIUE) and Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey.
In SIUE, SAU delegation was warmly received by President Julie Furst-bowe and discussed students exchange programs such as 2+2 and 3+2, short-term exchange programs as well as teachers training with College of Engineering, College of Commerce and College of Education. Both parties also reached consensus for further collaboration. During visit in SIUE, SAU delegation also listened to lectures by SIUE on teaching management and evaluation, and students management.
During visit in Rutgers, SAU delegation exchanged ideas on teachers training, students exchange and website courses with Rutgers representatives. Moreover, the hope was expressed that more collaboration could be encouraged between Rutgers and SAU, especially in relation to establishing fraternal ties and promoting teachers training programs.
